President Xi Jinping Appoints New Ambassadors

Recently, President of the People's Republic of China (PRC) Xi Jinping announced the appointment of the following new Ambassadors in line with decisions adopted by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress:

I. Ouyang Yujing was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Malaysia, replacing Bai Tian.

II. Chen Chuandong was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, replacing Pan Weifang.

III. Zhang Jianguo was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Tunisia, replacing Wang Wenbin.

IV. Qian Naicheng was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Turkmenistan, replacing Sun Weidong.

V. Yu Dunhai was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Malta, replacing Jiang Jiang.

VI. Tan Jian was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, replacing Xu Hong.

VII. Wei Hongtian was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Grenada, replacing Zhao Yongchen.
