"The Chinese-African Youth Exchange Program empowers the next generation and establishes long-lasting ties between China and other African countries," said Deputy Consul General REN Xiaoxia at the University of Johannesburg at the Opening Ceremony of the "Chinese Bridge" Chinese-African Youth Exchange Program on August 13th, 2016.

About 50 youth representatives from Chinese Universities and the University of Johannesburg and their teachers attended the ceremony.

Chinese participants of the Program are mainly winners of the “Chinese Bridge Sino-Africa Friendship Knowledge Competition”, held last December in Beijing.
